Blues Piano for Beginners - In 5 Stages 📈🎹

Blues piano is super fun to play, but it can be difficult for beginners to learn as the notation for blues piano riffs that actually sound good is usually far too advanced. But if you use chords and patterns it CAN be easy, if you use the right approach....

In this video I use a methodical step-by-step process that's broken down into 5 stages. Each step builds up in difficulty, and by the end you'll be able to play a fantastic sounding 12 bar blues that's great to boogie to!

If you make sure you practice each stage until you can play it comfortably, then even beginners will be able to play these blues piano patterns.

Here are the video chapters:

0:00 Intro
1:08 Stage 1 - The Basic Chord Shapes
4:49 The 12 Bar Blues Form
5:59 Stage 2 - Rocking Half-Beats
10:21 Stage 3 - 7th On Top
14:03 The Turnaround
16:20 Stage 4 - Pushed Beats
20:04 A Cool Ending Chord
21:15 Stage 5 - Crushed Notes
25:51 - Outro
